Southington, Connecticut Aqua Turf Club Wedding {Elisa & Mario}

It seemed a hard decision for Elisa to go to the Yankee's game with Mario.  It was her Maid of Honor that convinced her after two hours of conversation and going back and forth, that she should go.  I am convinced Mario is happy of at least two things... the first, that Elisa had such a great friend that send her on her way into his arms...second...that Elisa trusted her enough to follow her advise.

We have been part of many weddings, and the vows are always so beautiful, but NONE have made me cry the way theirs did.  Mario had such beautiful things to say, and he couldn't hold the tears back.  He had everyone crying...the emotions of the vows were so heartfelt ~ it was beautiful.

It rained -- anyone knows what that means??  Mario and Elisa will have a life time of happiness, because rain on your wedding day is a sign of great things to come!

Elisa and Mario, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your beautiful day.  Your family is fabulous and we couldn't be happier for the both of you.
With Love,
A&E

Wolcott, Connecticut Lily Lake Wedding {Marisol & Ivan}

 Marisol and Ivan exchanged their vows in the fountain room at the Lily Lake banquet facility surrounded by friends and family,.  There are just some couples that you click with, some that are genuinely nice and the type of people you are glad to come across in your life, to build friendships with.  Marisol and Ivan are that type of couple, and we are glad to call them friends.
Their wedding  looked like it was ripped from the pages of  a 1950's wedding magazine.  It was just perfect.  It rained, and it didn't matter...The ceremony was no longer to take place in the gazebo and that didn't matter.  Friends and family came together, and moved things around, and it was as if it was planned that way from the beginning -- JUST PERFECT --
Marisol and Ivan thank you for inviting us to share your day with you and your wonderful family. By the end of the night, we felt as if we were part of the family as well, the energy was contagious and we loved it!
With love... A&E

Windsor, Connecticut Senior session {Jay}

When I first scheduled this session with Dahlia, Jay's mom, Jay had barely said two words... shying away from "the talk" of the photo shoot. After a few schedule conflicts, we were able to come up with a date to meet, and Jay showed up bright and early with a BIG smile on his face.  Who would have thought? Jay the young man with a few words was in a great mood, and ready to take on the morning sun with his modeling abilities!!! yes!!! I love exclamation marks... but loved his attitude that much more!!!
Jay was a natural... he posed... he did all I asked of him, and the result, was an incredible photo shoot with an incredible young man.
I loved the time I spent with him. Loved the pictures, and the chance to meet not only him but his family.  Thank you for allowing us to document such an important time in your life. It is great that we are able to give you memories to last a lifetime! Wishing you a successful, rewarding college experience!

With love, A&E

WOLCOTT CONNECTICUT WEDDING: COLETTE + RICK

Their wedding was set to be on a cold winter afternoon, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days in January...A sign of GREAT things to come I am sure!!  They both looked amazing, and the day was just perfect!  The church was beautiful, the reception was to die for and well... what can we say?  we had an amazing time and appreciate both of you for letting us into your celebration and allowing us to be a part of such a special day.

A special thanks to

 Susie of The Biz for  doing the girls' hair
Elise of Cosmetic Artistry by Elise for doing the make up

 From there, we were out to enjoy a day full of beautiful moments and great fun!

This is how Rick looked at her the entire day...

What better way to end this post, than with one of my favorite pictures taken by Eddie, from the balcony of the church through a cut-out in the wood...

Hartford, Connecticut Engagement Session {Ivan & Marisol}

It is always the best part of being a photographer...hearing love stories, and meeting the couples that are the main characters.  From the moment I met Ivan and Marisol, I was excited to see such a gorgeous couple and loved their energy and how wonderful they are.  Instantly I could see they are truly meant for each other.  When we talked about their engagement session, they had the idea of doing a vintage styled shoot!.  Eddie and I met in a little street, the last of its kind in the area, because of its brick road and old storefront.  It was the perfect setting. It was cold and we even got some snow flurries... but we still got some amazing photos.

Marisol and Ivan, we can't wait to shoot your wedding...
